Grinshill - Middle Rocks Brutus Wall
About
Very committing problems on excellent rock. Good mat and spotter required.
Directions
From the Corbett Woods parking, walk back out of the car park and take a left down the access road.
Follow the road, down to just before the school house, then turn back on yourself on to the main track heading up hill to the beacon trig point.
At the second telegraph pole take a small path right down through the trees arriving at the west end of Middle Rocks (overhang wall).

# | Name | Grade | Description |
1 | Dang Tootin | 5 | From below the steep arete climb the wall using a sharp blade on the right to the third break, a good hold at the top has rope wear marks to finish. |
2 | V Slot | 5 | An obvious V slot halfway between the first and second breaks is used to reach a flake crack up to the left. |
3 | Crab Pincer | 5 | A frustratingly good problem. Start below the pinch type hold in the first break left heel hook up and crank like crazy via a massive reach to the second break, other methods possible but not as much fun. |
4 | Teenagers Live To Beat | 6C+ | A very hard pinch crimp on the wall halfway between the first and second break is used to pull left for the break. |
5 | Tootin | 3 | Just to the right of Brutus Wall is a small buttress with a slabby left face. Climb the jagged prow on large positive holds. |
