Nesscliffe - Ed's Wall

Easy access with a high concentration problems makes these walls the most popular area at the crag.
From the car park enter the woods and turn right and follow the main path until you reach the stairs. From the top of the stairs follow the track on your left up the hillside. When you reach the bold arete of Open Air (E3) continue straight to soon find yourself at Kynastons Cave. (Slab, Scoop and Ed's wall are adjoining)

1Punto4Pull into the centre of the scoop to get your onto a 2 step ledge at 6’.
2Bueno4+A crack in the scoop right of Punto is followed diagonally left to a hold in the break on the left.
3Dreadline6A+The desperate rounded undercut arete leads to a pocket hold at the base of a crack.
4Horizontal Slapping5+A strenuous start along a polished traverse after starting up the corner, traverse right following the obvious worn ramp to a break line. Cross Short Crack and move up to the next break and a green ledge on the right to finish.
5Panting4Just right of the tree, mantleshelf onto the ledge, pull up big flakes to a two pocket finish.
6Crackle4+Start on the left of an obvious round shallow pocket at 7’ using it for the right hand pull up to good holds atthe second break.
7Short Crack4+The obvious vertical finger jamming crack to easy ground.
8Grounded5+Right of Short Crack a hard start leads to pockets and a good green hold above the second break.
9Tiny Ed6ASit start, the short wall creates a few hard moves to the green ledge.
